New Beginnings Summer 2013

Today (4/9/2013) is the ending of one phase of our lives and the beginning of a new phase. We have made a decision to build a home on our RV site. We will no longer live full time in our motorhome. She will be our second home, our traveling home. So as we leave the park, we say good bye to one phase of our life and hello to new phase. We look back on these past eight years with great happiness and smiles for all we experienced and look forward to the future with great anticipation. .

May 2: Pegasus Parade

A major tradition before the Derby is the Pegasus Parade.

In length, it is longer than the Rosé Bowl Parade. Every dignitary in the area is in the parade, all the firefighter, police units area represented, Ms America, Ms Kentucky, and it seemed like every organization in the Louisville area plus the winning U of L Cardinals basketball, baseball, women's basketball teams each had one or more floats and of course there were marching bands from schools in the entire area.
