Amazing what has happened in 12 days

Twelve days ago our RVsite looked like this.

First the shed was removed.

Then the park model arrived.

 

Seven days ago construction on the Arizona Room started.

 

 

AND THE SUPER MOON ROSE TO CELEBRATE OUR NEW BEGINNINGS !! 

It has been very strange and yet very telling to us, that whenever we make a serious decision or changes in our life, there is a full moon at the same time.

And a week later, we have exterior walls, interior walls for rooms, air conditioning, windows, doors, and roof.

The walls are up, the windows are in and the roof is on !!

 

 

Construction is continuing very quickly. 

 

In two days the walls were up and the windows and doors were framed in.

Today the roof  and the awning are on.

The first wall went up this morning

 The first thing this morning, they stripped away all of the external siding.

Then the next thing we knew, the first wall was raised!

The room is beginning to take shape and we can see what it will become.

We are beginning to realize the size of the AZ room.  It seems immense to us.  Of course, between the park model and the AZ room, we will have more than twice the space we now have in the motorhome.......it will be a palace to us!!!

Jerry and Blake from Dakota Contractors are here everyday to supervise and to check with us about decisions that have to be made.  We have been very pleased working with them and with the quality of work they do.

We now have all of the amenities---water, electric, plumbing, a/c, and the concrete slab for the AZ room & deck

And we celebrate the first happy our in our new home

Park Model Arrives Today

We signed all the paperwork yesterday and the park model arrives today.

Invites were posted to everyone to come for coffee and donuts to watch the arrival.

 

 

And then it arrived into the park, through the gate and down our street.
