Today (4/9/2013) is the ending of one phase of our lives and the beginning of a new phase.  As of this afternoon when we leave Superstition Mountain Resort, SMR, our winter home, we transition from being full timers to being part timers.  For the past eight years our home has been our motorhome.  We named her Gracie Two and have lived in her and traveled with her and shared our adventures with her in our previous blog. .  Every winter we would live in Apache Junction at Superstition Mountain Resort and every summer we would leave for summer travels.  You can relive any of those adventures at our previous blog:    Http://lbbt.blogspot.com

This season we have made a decision to build a home on our RV site.  We will no longer live full time in our motorhome.  She will be our second home, our traveling home, our new summer adventures home.  And during the winter months we will stay at SMR in our new home.  Since this is an RV park according to city code, residents cannot build a permanent structure on the RV sites.  We will be bring in a park model home that is towed in and then attaching an Arizona room to it.  The park model will have the kitchen, dining area, bedroom, and guest bath.  The Arizona room will have the living room, office, master bath, and laundry.  And Bailey is most excited since he will have his own fenced in backyard. I know this sounds like a big home but in reality we are packing a lot into a little space.  We are  going from a 350 sq ' motorhome to a 779 sq' park model and Arizona room.  We are very excited about this new home and look forward to construction beginning mid June.

So as we leave the park today we say good bye to one phase of our life and hello to new phase.  Today will be the last day of full timing and we look back on these past eight years with great happiness and smiles for all we experienced.
Last day for Gracie II on Lot #89. She is all packed up and ready to go

And now we look forward to settling in a new home with more room to move, more space to entertain, more closet space, a real kitchen, and of course a big screen TV.

Our travels this summer will take us to the Kentucky Derby.  On our way we will spend time in Oklahoma City, Memphis, and Nashville.  April 29-May 5 is the Derby.  Then we head to St. Louis for a couple of weeks.  By June 15 we will return to Apache Junction to begin construction of our new home.

We send our love to all of you.  We will keep you up to date with our new beginnings and new life.

Love and hugs
BarbLindaBailey
